{"id":648,"date":"2006-02-15T07:51:38","date_gmt":"2006-02-15T07:51:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hypersync.net\/wordpress\/?p=648"},"modified":"2006-02-15T07:51:38","modified_gmt":"2006-02-15T07:51:38","slug":"what_is_love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hypersync.net\/wordpress\/?p=648","title":{"rendered":"What is love?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, a day after Valentine&#8217;s Day and many people are now wondering &#8211; What is love, anyway?<br \/>\nSo, here is a possibility for consideration:<br \/>\n&#8220;If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.<br \/>\nLove never fails.<\/strong><\/em>  (1 Corinthians 13:1-8)<br \/>\nThat last one &#8211; &#8220;Love never fails&#8221; &#8211; is a tough one.  Those of us in these mortal bodies will always find ourselves failing.
