Longing begins and long remains<\/p>\n
Deep within stirring, a modest ache
\nevermore building
\nso much light<\/p>\n
Building to overwhelming, such desire
\nall else overshadowing
\nso much warmth<\/p>\n
Overshadowing forward falls, into blindness
\nonly itself allowing
\ndimming<\/p>\n
Simple things, really…<\/p>\n
To love and be loved…
\nthe one to whom thoughts still bend…
\nthe one for whom longing remains\u2026<\/p>\n
A bit ridiculous, I say.<\/p>\n
Time has passed; opportunity has moved over; we move on, right?<\/p>\n
Why does this longing remain
\nwhy still overwhelmed by longing
\nwhy does impossible longing overshadowing all else<\/p>\n
