{"id":1336,"date":"2008-09-22T12:48:38","date_gmt":"2008-09-22T12:48:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hypersync.net\/wordpress\/?p=1336"},"modified":"2008-09-22T12:48:38","modified_gmt":"2008-09-22T12:48:38","slug":"we_arent_the_only_episcopal_ch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hypersync.net\/wordpress\/?p=1336","title":{"rendered":"We aren&#8217;t the only &#8220;Episcopal&#8221; church having problems&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, it is easy to become myopic when thinking about the pressing issues we are facing in The Episcopal Church USA and not recognize that we aren&#8217;t the only &#8220;Episcopal&#8221; Church in the midst of chaos, infighting, splintering, and the like.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iccec.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Charismatic Episcopal Church (CEC)<\/a> has been going through all kinds of problems of late.  Some of their parishes have even decided to join our own Episcopal Church (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.episcopalchurch.org\/81803_97741_ENG_HTM.htm\" target=\"_blank\">example<\/a>).  <del>The CEC is part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anglicanfederation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Federation of Anglican Churches in the Americas<\/a>, which is part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.united-anglicans.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Common Cause Partnership<\/a>, which is leading the way in forming yet another &#8220;Anglican&#8221; jurisdiction in the U.S. and Canada (without the recognition of Canterbury at this point).<\/del>  Update: I was wrong about the CEC being a member of the FACA!<br \/>\nHere is a website\/blog for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cecexodus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">CECEXODUS<\/a>.
