{"id":1129,"date":"2007-10-11T13:39:33","date_gmt":"2007-10-11T13:39:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hypersync.net\/wordpress\/?p=1129"},"modified":"2007-10-11T13:39:33","modified_gmt":"2007-10-11T13:39:33","slug":"an_odyssey_into_the_wild","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hypersync.net\/wordpress\/?p=1129","title":{"rendered":"An odyssey into the wild"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Considering the next post below, commenting on David Brooks op-ed piece, is Bob Carlton and a post on his blog, <a href=\"http:\/\/thecorner.typepad.com\/bc\/2007\/10\/all-your-souls-.html#more\" target=\"_blank\">The Corner<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>So many faith community I know view the definition of a young adult as someone who has a functioning prostrate, they view technology as a necessary evil, handled by an &#8220;amateur&#8221; who tends their website like a junk yard.  Ministry with young people has gotta be more than hoping &#8220;they&#8221; will show up &#038; like what &#8220;we&#8221; did.  It&#8217;s gotta be more than presence or program or purpose or even pathetic.  It&#8217;s gotta be more than apprenticing to join the borg that is churchianity.
